Burr treatment of rubber products

After rubber products are produced and formed, there will be product burrs on the products. The rough edge treatment of rubber products has high requirements for product appearance on the one hand, and is also inevitably related to product prices on the other hand. The processing of rough edges in general rubber products also incurs production costs for manufacturers. Therefore, while ensuring product quality in the process of processing rough edges, manufacturers pay more attention to the efficiency of processing rough edges in rubber products.

The rough edge treatment of rubber products is often divided into the following categories: manual trimming: high labor intensity, low efficiency, and low qualification rate. Mechanical edge trimming: mainly includes punching, grinding wheel edge grinding, and circular knife edge trimming, suitable for specific products with low precision requirements. Three frozen edge trimming: a specialized frozen edge trimming machine equipment, which uses liquid nitrogen (ln2) to make the rough edges of the finished product brittle at low temperatures, and uses specific frozen particles (bullets) to strike the rough edges to quickly remove them. The efficiency of frozen edge trimming is high, the cost is low, and it is widely applicable to products, which has become the mainstream process standard.

Rubber products are generally treated with rough edges based on the shape of the product and the customer's needs, in order to produce high-quality products more quickly and effectively.
